Thank you to all who have supported us on our journey and dined with us over the past 11 months. It is with heavy hearts we announce STM is closing permanently as of 10pm tonight, Sunday, June 19, 2022.
If you are able today, come dine with us, enjoy your favorite drinks from our tap wall, and order as much takeout as your fridge can accommodate.
Today will be our final day of service. We are grateful for all the good folks we’ve met along the way.

Shoot The Moon was a highly anticipated restaurant and beer bar that unfortunately had to close its doors permanently. However, we can still appreciate the exciting plans that were in store for this establishment. STM Hospitality LLC had signed a lease on a spacious 4,000-square-foot space within Spring Branch Village, which was being redeveloped by Braun Enterprises. Collaborative Projects was set to design and build-out the space, ensuring an appealing and comfortable atmosphere for guests.
The Shoot The Moon brand was being developed with the help of Letterset Houston, who were spearheading the creative development of the logo, graphic design, and menu layout. Chef Dax McAnear was set to create a well-rounded menu featuring small plates, pizzas, and healthy fare to suit all tastes. One of the most exciting features of Shoot The Moon was going to be their extensive automated tap wall with over 50 selections of craft beer, fine wine, spirits, and cocktails on tap. Guests would have been able to test and taste small pours or opt for a full serving using never-seen-before-in-Houston self-service beverage delivery systems.
Although we are saddened by the closure of Shoot The Moon, we can only imagine how amazing it would have been if it had opened its doors as planned. We hope that STM Hospitality LLC will continue their search for second and third locations so that more people can experience their dynamic tasting tavern concept in the future.
