Last Friday, we had the honor of participating in the inaugural C-CAP Houston Culinary Workshop - an afternoon focused on supporting the next generation of culinary talent!
The (C-CAP), a national non-profit, equips high school students and adults with culinary training, mentorship, and real pathways into hospitality careers. Alongside Guard & Grace and Agnes & Sherman, our team at Bludorn Hospitality Group was proud to support that mission in a hands-on way, cooking directly with students in the program. Chef Jeff () and Chef Alexandra () led a roasted chicken course, walking through technique, preparation, and ex*****on.
Each restaurant presented a dish, working through the demonstration together before everyone sat down to enjoy the meal, followed by a chef Q&A. A meaningful step toward broadening access to hands-on culinary education and helping shape the future of the industry. đ¤đ´â¨

Words from our wine director, Evan White, on our current producer spotlight! Come see us for a bottle of this curated selection from Lo-Fi Wine. đˇâ¨
âHailing from Santa Barbara County, Lo-Fi Wines is all about the âhands-offâ approach; turning down the volume on winemaking and letting the vineyard take center stage. Founded by friends Mike Roth and Craig Wi******er, the project embraces a no-frills
approach in the cellar.
The result? Wine that is bright, juicy, and a little wildâin the best way. They donât try too hard, and arenât interested in showing off to anyone. The entire range is fresh, energetic, and full of Cali sunshine. Even their labels rock out! Full disclosure: every bottle is unfined and unfiltered, meaning that the flavor is turned up to eleven.â

We are excited to welcome our new General Manager, Victoria Suazo. A USC film school graduate, she began her career in production before transitioning into luxury catering in Los Angeles and later joining Malibu Farm Tiburon in San Francisco as part of the opening team. Upon returning to Houston, Victoria has grown with us every step of the way - from maĂŽtre dâ, to Assistant General Manager, and now leading our front of house operations. Her warm demeanor, natural leadership, and go-getter attitude make her an incredible fit for this role.
We are especially proud to share that Bludorn is now managed by an extraordinary group of women in leadership roles, a reflection of the talent, dedication, and strength of this team. Alongside Victoria, Jordan McMurtrey serves as Assistant General Manager, Alexandra PeĂąa leads the kitchen as Chef de Cuisine, and Kristine Nguyen brings creativity and excellence behind the bar.
Together, they set the tone for everything we do: fostering a culture of hospitality, mentorship, and high standards, while creating an experience that is both thoughtful and unforgettable. We couldnât be more proud of this team and the leadership they bring to Bludorn every single day.
