Happy Monday!!
As temperatures stay cool this week, we can’t help but believe that this is the perfect time for you to enjoy our house-made gumbo!
Our gumbo begins with a traditional roux that is meticulously stirred and turned until it reaches the perfect shade of deep dark mahogany. Then we add our vegetables (the holy trinity) and sauté those in the roux until softened. Finally, we add our proteins, broth, and seasonings and simmer this beloved Cajun/Creole “stew” until it’s ready to be served. Come see us this week and try our gumbos (seafood or chicken and sausage), we think you’ll love it!
