Get ready for five decadent courses from Chef Chris. We’re talking crisped pork belly with smoked apple puree, miso squash soup with fermented blue corn bread, bourbon braised Outpost 76 short ribs, and a local pear galette with lavender vanilla goat cheese ice cream to close it out.
Each course comes with its own bourbon pairing, from a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned to a Blackberry Manhattan with K**b Creek.

Salad season doesn’t end when summer does! 🥗
HARVEST SALAD
Roasted butternut squash, pomegranate, dried cranberries, pepitas and chèvre with creamy balsamic. Add grilled chicken, shrimp or salmon.
THE UNROLLED SPRING BOWL
Grilled chicken, rice noodles, crisp cabbage, carrots, cucumber, red pepper and avocado with fresh mint and cilantro, served with house sweet chili and creamy peanut sauces.
CHICKEN COBB
Organic greens, chicken, gorgonzola, avocado, chopped egg, bacon, red onion and tomato with house bleu cheese dressing.

There’s lots happening at The Gathery this week!
Starting off with grab n’ go breakfast tacos tomorrow morning before the parade. Bacon, sausage or potato with egg and cheddar, and of course coffee if you need it.
Kids eat free on Thursday nights, 5 to 9 with an adult meal.
And Cheers O’Clock runs Tuesday through Friday in the 1890 Parlour, with $5 drafts, $8 house w**es and $8 bar bites.

Here at The Gathery, we’re a farm to table scratch kitchen. That phrase gets used a lot, so here’s what it actually means for us.
Our meat comes from ranches nearby rather than showing up wrapped from a warehouse three states away. And our produce is sourced from farms close enough to drive to, which is why the menu changes when the seasons do.
It also means your food gets made after you order it, which takes a few more minutes than you might be used to. We think it’s worth the wait. We’d rather you settle in, order a coffee, enjoy the company you came with, and let us cook it right.

We’re excited to bring Chef Chris’s supper clubs to Bellville!
If you knew Chef Chris before he came to The Gathery, you may have already experienced one. Our supper club will happen on the third Wednesday of every month, each featuring a thoughtfully curated theme and menu.
First up: a bourbon pairing dinner on Wednesday, October 21st at 6:30 PM. Chef Chris is creating five courses, each paired with a bourbon cocktail chosen to complement the dish. 🥃

This 16oz cut is locally sourced and dry-aged for two weeks, served over roasted winter squash with mushroom escabeche and red w**e jus. It’s definitely a must try on our fall menu!

To get to the café located on E Main Street in Bellville, there are several options for transportation. If using public transport, one can take the bus or train and get off at the nearest station, which is a few blocks away from the café. From there, simply walk towards E Main Street until you reach your destination.
If driving, take the main highway towards Bellville and exit onto E Main Street. Continue straight on this road until you see the café on your right-hand side. There are multiple parking options available nearby including street parking, public parking lots and garages in close proximity to the café.
