Most people know us for one thing right now: "Cake in a Can".
It wasn't an obvious idea. It came out of wanting a dessert format that felt as good to receive it as it does to eat it--something portable, giftable, and a little unexpected.
It's become our most requested product, available nationwide and same-day on DoorDash. Small details like this are what we obsess over-- because the packaging is part of the experience, not an afterthought.

Closing our storefront was one of the hardest business decisions we've made--and one of the most clarifying.
It wasn't one single thing --it was a season of hard lessons layered on top of each other. It taught us that going VIRAL is not the same as building something sustainable. A packed shop and a loyal customer base are two different things, and we needed to slow down and figure out which one we were actually building.
So we did. We spent the time since then doing pop-up markets and festivals to stay visible, and rebuilding the business--and ourselves--from the ground up. We pivoted our dessert concept to accommodate the market segment of shoppers who attend markets. We didn't want our customer's to be bogged down with cumbersome packaging while walking around trying to enjoy the events. Thus, our innovative "Cake in a Can" concept was crafted and curated specifically to solve this dilemma. And once again, our creativity sparked VIRALITY! People from all over the nation started contacting us wanting to get their hands on our VIRAL "Cake in a Can".
Once we figured out logistics to ensure that the product arrived at your door in a similar condition to if you had purchased in person, we began to ship nationwide. We also partnered with local third-party platforms (ie. DoorDash, UberEats, Class Pass).
Brick-by-brick we rebuilt the brand from the ground up. Growth isn't always a straight line. Sometimes it's a full REBUILD.

Cupfusion didn't start with a storefront. It started as a home bakery in 2019.
Somewhere along the way, we were able to build something bigger---a beautiful, aesthetically-driven space that opened in December 2021, with a fill grand opening in February 2022. It went VIRAL. We got press coverage. We built a loyal community that showed up again and again.
In 2023, we made the difficult decision to close those doors. Like a lot of small businesses navigating the years after 2020, we faced our share of challenges--and ultimately, staying open no longer made sense. That's not an easy thing to sit with, but it's part of our story.
Since then, we've kept showing up --through pop-up markets and festivals--while we rebuilt behind the scenes.
Now we're getting ready to open our first stationary retail space since the original storefront. More on that soon. 🩷

To get to the cupcake shop, take the public transport to the nearest bus stop or metro station. From there, head east/west/north/south (depending on the location of the public transport) and turn left/right at the first intersection. Walk straight until you see a small bakery with a bright pink sign.
If you're driving, take the main road towards downtown and turn onto the street where you see a gas station/bank/pharmacy/park (depending on your starting point). Drive for about two blocks and look for parking in the nearby lots or on-street spaces. The bakery is located on the corner of this street and another street with a traffic light.
