We are aware of a recent post circulating in the community regarding a former employee's departure from Daniel's Meat Market & BBQ. Because this post makes serious claims about our team and our business, we want to share how this matter was actually handled. The safety and respect of every member of our team is something we take seriously, and every concern raised with management is reviewed immediately and thoroughly.
This matter was reviewed internally, including interviews with everyone involved and all available video footage from the shift and timeframe in question. It was also independently investigated by the Harris County Sheriff's Department, which conducted its own interviews and video review. Neither review found the allegations to be supported by the evidence.
We also want to note that this post includes other statements about our business that are not accurate. Out of respect for the privacy of everyone involved, we won't debate personnel or investigation details in a public comment thread. We welcome anyone with genuine concerns to reach out to management directly rather than relying on secondhand claims.
Daniel's Meat Market & BBQ has always been, and remains, committed to a safe and respectful workplace for our employees and a quality experience for our customers. We are grateful for the trust this community has placed in us and will continue to earn it every day.
