Rare Steakhouse on Washington Avenue was a restaurant that aimed to define the perfect dining experience, complete with incredible food and world-class service. On social media, they advertised an array of dishes such as Caribbean Jerk Ribeye, 10 oz Cold Water Lobster Tail with House Cut French Fries, Southern Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and more. They also offered events like their engagement celebration party and Power Hour Happy Hour followed by dinner and live music. Unfortunately, Rare Steakhouse has since been permanently closed.

To get to the restaurant on Washington Avenue in Houston using public transport, you can take the bus or train to the intersection of Washington Avenue and Studemont Street. From there, it is a short walk west along Washington Avenue to get to your destination.
If you are driving, you can take I-10 to exit 767B for Washington Ave toward Heights Blvd. Follow the signs for Washington Ave and turn onto Washington Ave heading east. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side.
