🌻 Sunflowers & Sundresses at Starr Rover 🌻
Yesterday, the Pretty Girls That Brunch crew enjoyed our Sunflowers & Sundresses Brunch at Starr Rover, and it did not disappoint!
Let’s start with the drinks. I ordered their version of a Long Island Iced Tea. It was good and refreshing, although I expected it to be a little stronger. However, the star of the drink menu for me was the Frozen Espresso Martini. It was absolutely delicious! Heavy on the espresso, smooth, flavorful, and definitely packed the perfect coffee kick.
For appetizers, I ordered the yeast rolls for the table along with a cinnamon roll. Baby… when I tell you that cinnamon roll melted in your mouth! The yeast rolls were so good that I found myself dipping them into the cinnamon roll icing. Don’t judge me—it was worth every bite!
For my entrée, I had the chicken fried chicken with eggs and a stack of pancakes. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly, but those pancakes stole the show. They were light, fluffy, and topped with a buttery, sweet syrup mixture that made every bite even better than the last.
What really made the experience special was the service. We had a group of 24 ladies, and Starr Rover was more than accommodating. They reserved a dedicated space just for us, allowed us time to decorate, and made sure everything was ready when our guests arrived. Management checked on us regularly, and our waiter was phenomenal. He stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and did it all with a great attitude and a smile.
The menu isn’t huge, which I actually appreciate because it allows them to focus on doing what they serve really well. The atmosphere was relaxed, the music wasn’t overpowering, and it created the perfect setting for good food, good conversation, and great company.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot with delicious food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I definitely recommend Starr Rover.
