I heard Dine With Kent came out to Ammi's yesterday, one of my favorite restaurants. I got to talk to the owner, and he said Kent was one of the nicest people he's ever met. The owner offered to comp Kent's meal, and Kent refused. He said he always will pay for his meals, and never wants anything in return. 🥹

Kent, I want to say thank you. Thank you for being a voice for local restaurants and being honest and authentic. You and I have the same values when it comes to helping local restaurants, and I hope to one day meet you, or share a meal with you.

And his review, I can tell you, is authentic. If you aren't following him, i highly recommend you do. There are so many "influencers" out there, that are price gouging our incredible local restaurants that are struggling. I've seen prices in upwards of $2500 for one post. And there's tons of them. Their reviews are not authentic, and you won't know if they actually like the food or not. They take advantage of restaurant owners.

I can tell you, a Kent isn't one of them. He's the real deal.

Wishing everyone a very blessed Eid Mubarak from Ammi’s side. Wednesday we will be closed to spend time with our family and loved ones. InshaAllah from Thursday we are back to our regular hours.
