W**e Wednesday 🍷 2022 Château Chasse-Spleen

A classic Bordeaux from Moulis-en-Médoc, this Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend opens with aromas of cherry, chocolate, and red rose, followed by a fresh hint of verbena.

The palate is full and supple, with dense yet finely textured, chalky tannins and a beautiful freshness that carries through to a long, persistent red-fruit finish. The 2022 blend is 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.

From the heart of Margaux, this Third Growth Bordeaux is a Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. The 2020 vintage is beautifully concentrated yet elegant, with layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, violet, cocoa, and subtle spice, framed by structured tannins and a long, refined finish.
