What started as a vision for a little Italian dining room in Houston has become something bigger than we could have imagined.
Osteria di Mercato is officially MICHELIN Guide Recommended. 🥳🙏🏼
To have our little 30-seat restaurant recognized by the MICHELIN Guide is an incredible honor. But what makes this moment truly special is everyone who helped us get here.
To our team, who pours their heart into every plate, every glass, and every guest experience. To our friends, family, and community who believed in us. And to every single person who has pulled up a chair, made a reservation, shared a meal, or told someone about us—thank you.
You’ve helped shape Osteria into the restaurant it is today.
The MICHELIN Guide described our space as feeling like dinner in a chic Italian dining room, highlighting the intimate atmosphere and the food that Chef Mauricio and our team work so hard to create.
We’re incredibly proud of this recognition, but even more grateful for the people who made it possible.

Join us for a beginners behind the bar latte art experience.
This hands-on 2-hour class will teach you the essentials of:
☕️ Perfecting your milk froth & texture
🤍 Pouring the classic heart
🌷 Creating a beautiful 3-layer tulip
You’ll pour, practice, sip, and have a little fun along the way.
Throughout the class, participants will also have the opportunity to taste and enjoy any coffee drink of their choice from our menu while learning and practicing behind the bar!
Every guest receives a complimentary ceramic coffee mug at the end of class.

**Travel Directions to University Boulevard/Suite in Houston**
**By Public Transport:**
1. **Metro Bus:** Check the local Metro bus routes that service University Boulevard. Routes such as 25 or 56 may have stops nearby. Use the Metro's trip planner on their website for the most accurate route and schedule.
2. **Light Rail:** If you are near a light rail station, take the Red Line towards Fannin South and transfer to a bus or rideshare that goes to University Boulevard.
**By Car:**
1. **From Downtown Houston:** Take I-45 South, then merge onto I-69/US-59 South. Exit at Kirby Drive and turn left onto Kirby. Continue until you reach University Boulevard, then turn right.
2. **From George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH):** Take the Hardy Toll Road South towards downtown, then merge onto I-69/US-59 South. Follow the same directions from Downtown.
**Parking:**
There is typically street parking available along University Boulevard, as well as nearby parking lots and garages. Be sure to check for any parking restrictions or fees in the area before leaving your vehicle.
