Apart from serving great food, Bulldog Cafe also gives back to the community. In November 2021, they supported Sweeny Blue Santa by selling plates and accepting donations. They also closed early in February 2021 for the safety of their employees and customers.
During the pandemic, Bulldog Cafe took extra precautions to ensure everyone's safety. They reopened their dining room on January 5, 2021, but asked customers to wear masks upon entering and being waited on and to social distance. When cases rose in December 2020, they adjusted their services and only offered drive-thru options.
