Happy Easter everyone. I have been getting calls about having a Texas hold em tournament here at the.Throwback Tavern. And the answer is , yes , we will have a tournament to day for those of you that would like to come out and play. They buy in is fifteen dollars. If you have nothing else to do and want to have some fun playing cards , then come on down and see me and we will have a nice game. We will Start at four p m. I hope to see you then.

Howdy neighbors,This Sunday afternoon at Throwback, located at 820 34th st N here in Texas City we will host a Texas hold em tournament. The buy in today is $25. And $20 rebuys, we do this the last Sunday of the month. Kind of a double up tournament. Tommy Napuli, AKA T-nap we'll be cooking the fine food today. Sam and Valerie will be your bar goddesses for the evening. So come on by, we have the coldest drinks in town , and the finest food you can possibly eat. Hope to see you there. Here at Throwback Tavern we will not be holding a tournament tonight.For Texas, hold 'em. We will have a meeting around 7ish to go over the big tournament tomorrow february 21st. The kitchen will be open. We are going to try to get the tournaments started around 2ish. I think Taylor still needs a couple of dealers. We will have account of all the qualified players and get the tables set up tonight and organized. I hope to see you everyone here at the Tavern. We will also have a 1/2 game after the meeting. So come on down.
