Update: it’s come to our attention that our post may have been confusing or misleading. On January 5th, 2025 1817 Steak & Seafare (along with adjacent restaurant Lil Buffalo Grille ) will be closing and new restaurant ventures will be coming to the spaces located in the Evia community. We are excited for the new restaurants coming and can’t wait to support them. Thank you to our customers and we hope to serve you well in our last few days of business.

After much careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to step away from the restaurant business. This change allows us to focus on other aspects of life that require our attention. We are deeply grateful for the support of our community, our team, and our loyal customers throughout the years. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Both Lil’ Buffalo Grille and 1817 Steak & Seafare look forward to serving the Galveston Community with our last day being Sunday, January 5th. We greatly look forward to our friend, Dennis Byrd, with his Island Famous Hospitality Group taking over operation of both rebranded locations. Our success would never have been made if it were not for each and every one of our loyal Team Members (current & past). We are forever grateful.
