DICKINSON PROUD: TWO LOCAL TEAMS EARN TRIP TO LAS VEGAS FOR APA 9-BALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
This weekend was one for the history books at Cue The Coffee in Dickinson, Texas, as TWO hometown teams fought their way to the top and officially punched their ticket to Las Vegas for the APA 9-Ball World Championship this August.
Competing against teams from all across Galveston County, these players battled through one of the toughest qualifying weekends of the year and emerged victorious, proving that Dickinson is home to some of the strongest pool talent in the region.
Representing our community on the world stage will be:
• Java Shots
• Pocket Pounders
Out of every team competing throughout Galveston County, these two teams rose above the rest and earned the incredible honor of representing Galveston County and the City of Dickinson at one of the largest amateur pool championships in the world in Las Vegas, Nevada.
At Cue The Coffee, we could not be prouder.
What started as a local community built around coffee, friendship, and a love for billiards has grown into something truly special, and this weekend proved just how much talent exists right here in our own backyard.
We want the entire city of Dickinson to know just how proud we are of these players. They are not only representing themselves, but they are carrying the pride of our town with them all the way to Las Vegas.
